Product brochure for an IVDR system
Scientific product communications · Medical technology · Conference materialsOverview
This product brochure was developed as a customer-facing resource for use at medical conferences and tradeshows. It introduces a rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) system, explaining the technology, workflow, and clinical relevance of rapid AST to healthcare professionals and laboratory scientists.
The brochure needed to communicate a technically complex system clearly while also giving readers a compelling reason to consider its potential value in clinical practice.

My role
I developed the content and aided with the visual structure of the brochure, translating technical product information and scientific evidence into a clear customer-facing narrative.
The brochure takes the reader from the clinical problem–why rapid AST matters–through the underlying technology and workflow, before explaining the system itself and its potential value to laboratories and healthcare professionals.

Communication considerations
A product brochure has to do several jobs at once:
It needs to explain what the technology is, demonstrate how it works, establish scientific credibility, and give the reader a clear understanding of its practical value. All without overwhelming them with technical detail.
The content was therefore structure around the questions a prospective user is likely to have: What’s the problem? How does the technology work? How would I use the product? And why does it matter?
Scientific and technical information was translated into accessible language while retaining the level of detail expected by a specialist audience.
Project outcome
✔️ Created a customer-facing resource for international conferences and trade shows
✔️ Translated complex diagnostic technology into accessible scientific messaging
✔️ Provided laboratory and clinical audiences with both technical and clinical context
