Patient case studies for conference engagement
Medical education · Conference material · Scientific marketingOverview
These patient case handouts were developed to support scientific discussions at international conferences, combining real clinical case data with concise educational content in a format suitable for busy conference attendees. This content has been updated and reused across multiple different conferences and trade shows.
The objective was to communicate how the technology performs in real-world clinical scenarios while ensuring the content remained scientifically accurate, visually engaging, and appropriate for use as customer-facing conference material.
These patient case study handouts were adapted into digital display content for the same conference programmes.

My role
I developed the scientific content and aided with the visual design for a series of patient case study handouts used during international conferences.
Working from clinical data and supporting evidence, I translated complex patient journeys into concise educational resources that highlighted clinically relevant findings while remaining suitable for customer-facing use in a regulated environment.

Communication considerations
Conference delegates often have only a few minutes to engage with booth materials before moving on.
For these handouts, the challenge was to present authentic clinical cases in a format that could be understood quickly without sacrificing scientific integrity. Each case was structured to guide readers through the patient’s presentation, diagnostic findings, clinical interpretation, and outcome, using visual hierarchy to make key information immediately accessible.
The result was educational content that supported meaningful scientific conversations at the booth while reinforcing the product’s clinical value through real-world evidence rather than promotional claims.
